Here are some tidbits about the schools in the neighborhoods I serve:

• Silver Lake – Ivanhoe Elementary is one of the best schools in the city. And, Micheltorena with its Spanish immersion program is highly coveted. King Middle School has a number of magnet programs including a highly regarded environmental science program.

• Los Feliz – Franklin Elementary is one of the best schools in the city.

• Mt. Washington – Mt. Washington Elementary is a great family neighborhood school. Many families move to Mt. Washington for the school.

• Eagle Rock – Eagle Rock Elementary has a magnet program that neighborhood families love.

• South Pasadena – has amazing schools all through High School

• Glendale – has excellent schools and outstanding language immersion programs including French, Spanish, and Korean.
